Lindsey Kamyszek

Adaptable. Regardless of what environment I am in, I have set a standard to myself to succeed in various aspects of dance. The ability to create a narrative through movement and to translate genuine stories to my audience holds great value in my eyes as a performer. Whether it is in an intimate studio space, theater, or on the football field, I find a way to connect with my audience and create a narrative through my dancing. The way one performs is varied based on the type audience you are performing for. Dancing for 110,000 fans in the Big House, that are not necessarily there to watch you, requires a different performance quality than performing for a theater full of your family and friends. Over the years I have learned the importance of knowing who you are dancing for and how to evoke a response out of any type of audience. Everyday I am motivated by my eagerness to evolve as a dancer. In the future, I hope to share of love of dance with others through my choreography and performances.
